Short Story Sprint

Every great story needs a hero. Your first task is to invent one! What is their name? What do they look like? Most importantly, what is their secret superpower? It doesn't have to be flying—it could be the ability to talk to animals, or being incredibly good at solving puzzles.

Your hero needs a world to explore. Describe a mysterious place they discover. Is it a hidden cave behind a waterfall? A floating island in the sky? Or an old, forgotten library? Use your words to paint a picture of this magical location.

A great story always has a surprise. Your final task is to think of a twist for your story. Maybe the grumpy old wizard is actually trying to help? Or perhaps the scary dragon is just lonely? End your story with something the reader won't see coming!
